We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable
license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your
personal use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of
Service.
2 Wardlayer does not tell you what you are
The body-shape reading is a suggestion for choosing
clothes, derived from the three measurements you enter. It is not
a diagnosis, not a judgement, and not a fact about you. Wardlayer is
not a medical device, not health or fitness advice, and not a
substitute for professional care. It does not track your
measurements over time and is not a weight-management tool. If you have
concerns about your health or your body, please speak with a qualified
professional.
3 Your content
You retain all rights to the photographs, items, outfits, notes and
measurements you put into the app (“Your Content”). Your Content is stored
locally on your device, except what you choose to publish in Khám phá
(below). When you add an item, a downscaled copy of that one garment photo
is sent to have its background removed — see the
Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having
the right to submit it, including any photograph you take from a shop
page.
4 Khám phá — what you publish
Khám phá lets you show one item or one outfit to other users of the
app, and rate or answer theirs. You publish in one of two ways:
Chia sẻ, for others to rate, or Hỏi ý kiến, with one
question picked from a fixed list, for others to rate and correct. Using
it is optional.
- When you publish, you give us permission to store the picture and
attributes you chose and to show them to other users of the app, for
as long as the post exists. You can delete a post at any time.
- You must follow the community
rules: publish only photos of your own clothes, and keep notes
about the clothes, not the person.
- We may hide or remove anything that is reported or breaks the rules,
and may stop a person who breaks them from publishing or writing
notes.
- You can block another user. Neither of you then sees the other's
posts, and they cannot rate or answer yours. We limit how many posts
and answers one person may make; the limits are shown in the app.
- Ratings, proposed attributes and notes come from other
users, not from us. They are opinions, shown as counts, and
we do not check them or stand behind them.
5 Background removal and guessed attributes
Cut-outs and the category, colour, season and occasion the app proposes
are produced by automated systems. They are approximations and can
be wrong, they are always editable, and the removal can fail
outright — in which case you can keep the photo un-cut. We make no warranty
that a cut-out will be accurate or that the service will be available at
any given moment.
6 Shop links and the in-app browser
Wardlayer lets you open a shop page you chose and keep one picture from it,
with the item's name and price when the page states them.
Wardlayer is not a shop. We are not affiliated with those
sites, we take no commission, we do not rank or recommend anything by
commercial interest, and no purchase happens in Wardlayer. Prices,
availability, delivery and the site's own terms and privacy practices are
between you and that shop. A link you save is a note to yourself; we do not
guarantee it keeps working.
7 Wardlayer Pro and the free limit
The app is free, with one limit: the free tier holds 20 items in
your wardrobe. Everything else is free and unmetered — outfits,
the wear log, the calendar, measurements, your wishlist, and background
removal itself. Wardlayer Pro is an auto-renewing
subscription that removes that limit. It also raises the limits in Khám
phá: more posts open at once, more posts and answers a day, and a post
that stays open 60 days instead of 14. We may adjust these limits.
Nothing you have already made is ever locked. Items,
outfits and logs stay readable, usable and deletable whatever your
subscription state; the limit applies only to adding a new item.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. The subscription
renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of
the current period; manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → your name →
Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Refunds are
handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us.
8 No cloud backup — keep your own copies
Apart from what you publish in Khám phá, the app stores everything on
your device only and provides no account, sync or cloud backup. Your Content may be lost if your device is lost,
damaged or reset, or if the app is uninstalled. You are responsible
for keeping your own copies.
9 Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to
interfere with or circumvent its intended operation or its limits, and not
to access our services by any means other than the app.
10 Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any
kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose
and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted,
error-free, or that it will preserve Your Content.
11 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or
content, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
12 Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app
after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We
will revise the effective date above when we make changes.
